We have some unfortunate news to deliver, in that we will not be continuing the development of PixelJunk Nom Nom Galaxy for PlayStation Vita.
No corporate double speak needed as the reason is quite simple – we had to stop work on it so that we could focus on providing the best possible console experience on PS4 without sacrificing the game’s ambition and content.
We’ve been working with the Vita since 2010 and it’s how we made our real start as a developer, so this wasn’t an easy decision for us.
It’s the first and hopefully only time as a studio that we’ve had to stop working on a title. A lot of really good work from some very clever people went into it and I’d like to say thanks to the team for all their hard work. I hope everyone can understand the reasoning behind it, we did look at other scenarios for how we could keep itrunning and unfortunately this is how it needs to be.
The team and Q-Games have done a terrific job on Nom Nom Galaxy and we look forward to sharing it with you.
